Privacy notice (pre-launch draft)

Not a final legal policy. This draft must be reviewed and completed before collecting live public enquiries. No public launch should take place until the operator's registered identity, contact details, retention period and data processor information have been filled in.

Information submitted

We request name, email, store name, city, business type, enquiry choice and optional Instagram handle, phone number and WhatsApp consent.

Purpose

We use this information to assess fit, respond to a challenge or founding-membership enquiry, and where separately consented, send WhatsApp updates. We do not sell enquiry data.

Retention, security and your choices

Data is stored on the configured server. Operators must configure access controls, retention, deletion requests and any processors before launch. Marketing consent is optional and can be withdrawn. The live policy must specify how to request access or deletion.

Pre-launch checklist

Specify the legal business identity, contact email and address, lawful basis and notices required under applicable law, processors/webhook recipients, deletion timetable, and a grievance/contact route. Verify Indian privacy and e-communications requirements with counsel.
